It's Already Done By Regina Waller A Collection of Short Sories & Poems Woe Unto The Pastors pg.75 I can’t help but wonder why I’ve never heard a pastor preach on this particular scripture. I’ve attended church all my life (of course there were times when I was “missing in action” for long periods; and it’s impossible to have attended every church so it’s possible I could’ve missed it simply by being absent that day or not in attendance where it was being preached). Still though, I don’t recall hearing anyone preach/speak about it on television, the radio, or even in small group Bible studies. I can go to just about any Baptist, Pentecostal, Apostolic, or “Non-Denominational” church and be almost guaranteed to hear at least once (usually several times) during the services that I “owe God money”, or if the people would just “sow a seed” it would be returned multiplied. Many times you’ll hear things like {if you don’t pay your tithes, God will get it..... |
